In Alfa Laval, Evaporation we are now strengthening our global Evaporation organization with central base in Søborg, Copenhagen. For this purpose, we are looking for a talented Process Engineer experienced within the field of process engineering, design & project work. Engineering & Supply (E&S) is a truly global support organization committed to deliver professional project management and engineering within a wide range of applications and industries. We have employees in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, US, China, India, Brazil, Malaysia, Mexico, Italy etc. As our future Senior Process Engineer in the E&S Evaporation Department you are experienced within design of large process plants and used to work in projects having tight deadlines. Key tasks - Together with the Business Unit generate mass and energy balance, main equipment list, specification of equipments, P&ID´s & functional descriptions for appointed projects - Together with the project manager and lead engineers organize and execute the engineering activities for appointed projects - Participate in external meetings with customers to discuss/clarify process issues and engineering activities - Drive improvement of technical solutions and secure best technology and learning is implemented into our engineering work and process design to the benefit of our customers - Participate in performance tests and drive trouble shooting for appointed projects - On a daily basis coordinate engineering activities with our office in Pune, India - Assist in our global engineering coordination activities with other Alfa Laval sites. Personal profile & qualifications - Chemical engineering degree or similar - Experience with project work • +5 years experience with process design (preferable from Food, Biotech or Starch industry) - English skills at negotiation level (written and verbal) - Self-driven and structured, working systematically on delivering high quality and efficient solutions - Open and active approach to communication and cooperation - Can establish and keep relationships with project members and customers based on trust and respect - Internationally oriented with good cross-cultural understanding.
