Your future responsibilities

You’ll join Group Technology/ Common Technology/ Infrastructure/ Mainframe where we, in the NonStop Services team, are responsible for supporting Nordea’s HPE NonStop platform for core business applications for the bank in Finland as well as several applications for Safekeeping and Settlements in Denmark. The team is primarily located in Helsinki (although one member of the team is based in Copenhagen). You will be a member of the team responsible for supporting the NonStop platform architecture, implementing improvements as well as maintaining current platform infrastructure in cooperation with our operations partners and third-party vendors. We collaborate with the business application development and support teams to ensure smooth running of services on the platform. Welcome to a team that covers all aspects of platform support which includes maintaining some inhouse-written infrastructure application software.

Your profile and background:

able to demonstrate a solid background with HPE NonStop, an enthusiasm for the platform technology, willingness to collaborate with immediate colleagues and other stakeholders
willing to learn from and share knowledge with colleagues and appreciate the value of good documentation

Knowledge of NonStop operating system and subsystems, tools and utilities including some of the most common third-party products is expected.

In particular, you should be familiar with TACL, TMF, Pathway, NonStop SQL/MP
Understanding of OSS, NonStop Java, NonStop SQL/MX, would be beneficial
Experience with MQ Series on NonStop, NonStop Security best practices and products are a big plus; Familiarity with the main programming languages (COBOL, TAL, C) on NonStop would be advantageous
