Do you want to take charge of demand planning in Grundfos and ensuring all our plans are robust, reliable and of the highest quality?

The Senior Manager, Group Demand Planning, is the key person to lead global demand planning process in Grundfos. You will be responsible for leading the global demand planning process, analysis and will work closely together with Sales and customers to ensure the most accurate demand plan. The demand plan is the foundation for our global planning processes with regards to SIOP. This includes also the direct responsibility to run the monthly statistical model, drive and lead Regional Demand Reviews and ultimately track and improve demand forecast accuracy (both Accuracy and BIAS). You will be responsible for driving weekly & monthly analysis to understand trends in Sales vs. plan to bridge between short term execution and long-term planning.

Furthermore, The Senior Manager will lead a team of 7 engaged Regional Demand Planning Managers located across the globe. The Senior Manager will be responsible to drive the development of Demand Planning capabilities in Grundfos. The capability building comprises both of planning systems, processes and competencies in the organization.

The Key Responsibilities for the position:

• The Global Demand Plan (0-18 month)
• Monthly statistical forecast model
• Developing good Sales Company & Customer Relationships
• Build required Demand Planning Competences in Sales Companies
• Demand forecast accuracy (globally) - deep dives and understanding of drivers and actions needed
• Leading a global Demand Planning team
• Governance role around Regional Demand Review
• Key focal point towards Finance Community in driving Demand Planning Process

Decision competences and authorizations

The Senior Manager is leading the monthly cycle of demand planning at global level for the next 18 months by analyzing and deep diving the demand signals monthly to continuously strengthen the quality of the Demand Plans in Grundfos - on both Markets and Products dimensions. You are responsible for tracking the results and driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Regular visits to our main customers, sales companies and driving similar visits with site supply chain representatives across the globe are crucial to achieve this goal. We expect around 25-30 days of travelling.

What do you need to apply?

You have a solid experience with Demand Planning in different Value Chains like Make to stock, make to order, project sales etc. You succeed in driving initiatives in a complex matrix organization because you have authority, clout and most important you are robust. Moreover, you have minimum a BS degree and applicable experience in Demand Planning Management of at least 3 years. You must have demonstrated experience in progressively more responsible and challenging roles - Experience within Change Management is a plus. People Leadership experience is required - and preferably in a Global Company as you will lead a global team. Working knowledge of SAP is mandatory.

This role requires very well-developed change management and communication skills at all levels within and outside the organization. You are a team player and capable of leading teams of people remotely, also towards peers and other stakeholders not reporting directly to you and often from other functions. A truly global mindset, dedication to Growth and Customer Service and analytical approach complete the profile.
