Set amazing planning plans in motion

You will play an essential role in driving processes and planning tools aimed at developing the commercial focus and acumen in the LEGO Group. This means you will be a strong support to the business, in particular through the Customer Development organisation that drive the sales planning processes of the Group.

Thus, you actively use your broad business understanding to pinpoint challenges and identify potential for optimisations. You will transform our global strategies into specific possess and planning tools and drive value adding projects through our sales network. You will be providing transparency of the global projects across the Market Groups and LEGO Retail and help securing the necessary resources across the LEGO Group.

Specifically, you will:

- Develop and drive one of your truly business-critical global planning processes for Market Groups and Business Units

- Be a critical sounding board and advisor to the Sales Integration Network consisting of customer development managers from our market groups

- Be driving meeting cadence and make sure that relevant agenda topics are prepared in high quality by drivers

- Engage with key Market and Commercial Development/Market Group/Business Unit stakeholders to drive clear status and progress on key projects affecting the entire company

- Be a strong participate in cross functional projects – often as project owner or driver

You will join Market and Commercial Development – a truly global department of 45 colleagues placed across the world. Based in Billund, you will become part of the Sales Processes & Planning team where we are 4 colleagues responsible for the commercial planning of all our sales companies.

Creating commercial value for the LEGO Group and our partners is critical to us – and we have fun while doing exactly that. We each have unique responsibilities, but by working as a team, we are developing each other’s skills and thereby unlocking our full potential.

Globalise and innovate the way we do business and sales planning

On a personal level, you have a strong strategic orientation, but maintain an operational, hands-on approach in supporting the day-to-day business. You know how to challenge and support people at different organisational levels, regardless of culture, and you communicate your input and actions constructively and with a good portion of humour to secure buy-in. Your qualifications:

- Most likely, you hold an MSc in economics & business administration

- You have 5+ years of experience working in a front-line commercial area in a large global organisation with a wide array of international stakeholders

- You have 3+ years of experience from a commercial role, e.g. sales, trade marketing, key account management or from a business analyst function

- Being analytical and having a strong business acumen, you know your business intelligence tools, including methods and presentation formats, e.g. SAP, Excel, etc.

- You are fluent in English, and if English is your mother tongue, you master one additional language.
