Join us and become Senior Legal Counsel in Business Ethics Compliance where you along with your colleagues will be working withbusiness ethics and anti-corruption compliance to continuously mature and improve our business ethics compliance area.
Business Ethics Compliance is overall responsible for ensuring that all our employees comply with good business conduct and supporting guidelines. We’re responsible for developing and implementing compliance areas such as our anti-corruption, anti-fraud, conflict of interest and compliance screening programmes. With these initiatives, we translate our corporate values into actions by addressing and resolving ethical and compliance-related issues that arise in the daily work of our colleagues across the business.
The Business Ethics Compliance department is part of Legal, and the department cooperates with all business units and support functions.
Your key tasks will be to
- lead and manage our compliance screenings set-up on potential and existing suppliers and business partners, leveraging external experts for additional insights
- drive the implementation of the KYC screening process through maintaining our procedures, screening platform and tools, delivering training to internal stakeholders and ensuring high-quality reporting and committee support
- conduct awareness training and presentations of our good business conduct policy and KYC procedures
- identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, and ensure corrective action plans for the identified issue
- support your colleagues in relation to general day-to-day tasks.
Moreover, you’ll be our subject-matter legal expert on supplier and business partner performance in respect of anti-corruption, bribery and trade sanctions.
Your competences include that you
- are a fully qualified lawyer and have a legal degree
- have extensive experience from conducting global screenings related to anti-corruption, bribery and trade sanctions
- have experience within business ethics from a large company, law firm, advisory firm or similar
- have a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset and are able to understand complex business processes
- have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially in English, enabling you to communicate effortlessly and smoothly with stakeholders at all levels.
