We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior International Trial Manager with passion for clinical trials and diabetes and how digital health can strengthen clinical development. About the department Clinical Operations, Insulin, Growth Hormone & Devices, is responsible for the set-up and execution of phase 2-4 studies within our diabetes, digital health, device and growth hormone portfolio. We are a large area of enthusiastic colleagues in positions as International Trial Managers, Clinical Trial Administrators and Clinical Project Managers. The position As Senior International Trial Manager you will be responsible for timely planning, execution and finalisation of clinical trials, using your operational and therapeutic experience. You will chair the International Study Group and ensure coordination of trial management activities in a proactive way through clear communication and teamwork skills. Organising and executing team meetings as well as planning, preparing and presenting at global Investigator and Monitor meetings are also part of your tasks. You have a structured and analytical approach as well as a high quality mind-set when developing trial documents such as protocols, monitoring guidelines, recruitment and retention strategies, risk management plans, communication plans etc. You sense the importance of detail when setting up a trial and providing input to clinical IT systems. At the same time you are able to digest complex data output and evaluate the level of data quality during a trial. You have experience and a proven track record of your ability to ensure progress of trial activities within given timelines and in accordance with the trial budget prepared by you. As digital health is a new area within Novo Nordisk A/S, this position requires that you are excited about the possibility to affect new processes and working within a field with no predefined path. You have an end to end thinking and are able to evaluate the consequence for different stakeholders when establishing new processes. Qualifications You hold a university degree in medical, biological or pharmaceutical science or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in trial management related positions and with significant project management responsibilities. You have a broad knowledge of clinical trial methodology as well as good presentation, communication and negotiation skills. Strong IT and data process knowledge is required. A quality mind-set is a must together with a clear focus on meeting deadlines, communicating effectively and knowing how to prioritise between different tasks in a dynamic environment. You are a dedicated team player with a high degree of flexibility and cross-cultural awareness who inspires trust amongst colleagues and partners.
