Can you unleash the Nordic growth potential within our core business through converting insights into compelling marketing strategies whilst leading a team of 3 marketing professionals?

As the Senior Brand Manager you and your team of 3 brand managers / associate brand managers will have the end-to-end responsibility for the portfolio of themes consisting of classic themes such as LEGO CITY, LEGO Technic, new play themes such as LEGO Hidden Side and strong IPs

Core Responsibilities

• Head up the Nordic core brand team comprised of 3 skilled marketeers and one student worker

• Act as an informal leder of the entire brand team as a part of the Marketing leadership team

• Together with your team develop and implement marketing strategies balancing the need to create consumer demand and shopper conversion across ATL and BTL in close collaboration with our internal digital, trade and sales teams and external media agency partner

• Manage the total portfolio of themes ensuring that there is a holistic marketing portfolio and priority storyline towards internal and external stakeholders

• Act as brand manager for 1-2 themes within the portfolio

• Collaborate with Operations in our monthly S&OP cycle and our weekly business traction around e.g. consumer sales, seasonality & stock planning

• Work closely with the two other segment responsible brand managers on our full portfolio portfolio storylines and key deliverables

• Ensure that all brand marketing processes are well planned and executed focusing on delivering best possible selling-in tools for our KAM teams.

At our Nordic office in Billund, you will join 20 colleagues in our vibrant Nordic Marketing department. And you will join a team of 6 brand managers who enjoy end-to-end responsibility for their own LEGO themes and audiences. To us, collaboration is key, and you will be welcomed into a small family, where we look out for one another and help eachother succeed. To market our toys, we need creativity, inspiration and a little out-of-the-LEGO-box thinking.

With a high market penetration and a position as the strongest toy brand in the region, driving short- and long-term sustainable growth is a key challenge, and our core business is both our “bread and butter” business as well as a key growth engine, so you will have plenty of opportunities to demonstrate your skills within brand management

Do you have what it takes?

• Hold a master’s degree in marketing, business finance or similar

• Speak and write English fluently as well as at least one of the Nordic languages

• Have 7+ years of marketing experience; with end-to-end responsibility for a portfolio and a track record of through the line campaign executions

• Enjoying the diversity in being both a formal and informal leader and have at least 2+ years leadership experience

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills making people coming together to follow your direction even if this is not a direction you have always invented

• Have a strong digital marketing track record – and within the digital world you also understand the world today’s Nordic kids lives.

• Commercial mindset resulting in a constant focus on how to translate latest insights and analysis into driving your business forward

• Thriving in a dynamic environment where two days are never the same – but they are always fun!

• Never averse to rolling up your sleeves and pitching in if needed

• Past experience working with kids as a target group is an advantage, but not a must

• Experienced user of excel and power point
