Maersk Container Industry is looking for a Technical Lead for their future IOT system for developing overall solution requirements, including applications definition – integration, security and system configurations.

Sekstant™ Global Guidance (see below) will provide reporting data to container operators wherever the reefers are located in the world. The system will enable new levels of automation and data collection, changing the way how operators can manage their reefer transport chain.

Key responsibilities
As Technical Lead for Sekstant, you will be part of a team that takes responsibility for the technical understanding of the customers’ requirements and you will be responsible for anchoring know-how in the organization. You will work closely with the internal sales department and external partners. You will be one of the key persons to help build up the new digital eco system Sekstant™ Global Guidance.
Responsibilities will include:
•Develop overall solution requirements including application definition, integration, security, and system configurations.
•Define technical requirements for the IOT platform to cater for customer requirements and internal users.
•Act as engineering lead towards external development partners.
•Ensure platform supports the roadmap for MCI's digitals solutions (Sekstant).
•Develop “use cases” and translate into specifications.
We are looking for
In order to succeed in this job, we expect you to have:
Experience dealing with IOT protocols and platforms, as well as a background as a computer specialist or Academy Profession (AP), and/or a Degree in Computer Science or Similar.
Experience working with different technologies, such as Web, mobile applications, .NET framework and Database design. We also expect you to have some years of experience in leading managing and delivering IOT projects. Lastly, MCI is looking for an individual who is able to work in a structured and analytic manner and who possess strong communication skills.
Your critical mindset ensures that you are able to work on several projects simultaneously without compromising quality. You take pride in taking full responsibility for driving your tasks and projects.
