Join DONG Energy and become Fabrication & Quality Manager in our Wind Turbines - Quality and Commissioning Management department, which is responsible for the planning, execution and follow-up on quality levels and activities related to wind turbine supply throughout the supply chain, ranging from sub-suppliers to pre-assembly and commissioning offshore. Additionally, we review and follow up on our wind turbine suppliers' quality management supplemented with our own quality activities - based on the product and process specifications established for the product. The department is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our Hamburg office in Germany; or alternatively at one of our Danish offices in either Skærbæk near Fredericia or Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area or at our London office in the United Kingdom. You should expect travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Fabrication & Quality Manager, it is your primary role to manage the quality activities in our wind farm construction projects related to our wind turbines throughout the supply chain, which includes manufacturing, pre-assembly, installation and commissioning. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: plan, execute and document the project's quality plan, including own participation in quality activities manage our supervisors', inspectors' and specialists' work at the WTG suppliers' facilities ensure documentation and follow-up on product and process non-conformities implement preventive and corrective actions ensure that project documentation is received, reviewed, accepted and made available to the project team and ultimately our colleagues in the operation and maintenance phase. Your profile You have an education as Master of Science in Engineering or similar and some experience within mechanical or electrical engineering. Moreover, you have extensive experience with quality management, assurance and control. In addition, you have extensive experience with supplier management and interaction as well as project management. Preferably, you also have experience with the wind turbine industry and wind turbine technology. As you will handle many stakeholders in an international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently. Additionally, you have good communication skills and present your results professionally. It is vital that you have a systematic approach to your work and responsibilities. You also have a result-oriented, value-adding and inclusive approach to your work. Moreover, you are a team-player. As you are responsible for work performed by others, you are able to coach and inspire your team and stakeholders to achieve high-quality results. Finally, you are able to manage several internal and external interfaces at the same time. You work focused with your projects, enabling you to swiftly get to the point and stay on target.
