Core Responsibilities
• Develop new and enhance existing SAP UI5 applications
• Ensure that all developments, also the ones done by LEGO´s external partners, fully adhere to agreed IT-architecture
• Translate business-requirements into technical requirements in close collaboration with IT-colleagues and business-users
• Develop and maintain OData-Services and CDS-views
• Suggest changes to business-processes in close collaboration with IT-colleagues and business-users
Play your part in our team succeeding
You will be a part of the "Product & Digital Asset Management" team. Our team develops and maintains systems to handle development of products, components and digital assets used for a wide variety of purposes. We also deliver digital asset management systems as well as product information management solutions to our own channels such as B2B, shop.lego.com and LEGO retail stores.
Together with key stakeholders in business & IT we deliver target architecture, roadmaps, value assessments and solutions.
Product information is an increasingly important discipline to master as the requirements to support product development processes are expanding.
The core product development processes include several steps maturing the product information in the full product life cycle from development towards logistics, markets and digital business.
As a member of the P&DAM team, your main responsibilities will be development and enhancements of IT-solutions in our current SAP ERP-system and taking part in planning the transition of our solutions into S/4 Hana. This includes:
• Collaborate with team-members and business-colleagues to implement enhancements and new solutions in the SAP landscape. Your main-focus will be UI5-development and preferable also ABAP-development if you are up for the challenge.
• Taking part in translating business requirements into solid IT solutions.
• Being our technical expert with regards to UI5-development with a good understanding of CDS-views and OData-services an ABAP.
As an SAP Developer in the LEGO Group you are also a part of a cross-department SAP-Developer network. The responsibility of the SAP Developer network is to set the direction and general requirements for all developments done in SAP-systems across the LEGO IT platform. Your participation in the network will include to:
• Make yourself familiar with all best practices and ways of developing
• Suggest and describe new best practices and principles
• Leverage understanding of development-practices in the LEGO-group and our external partners
Do you have what it takes?
The ideal candidate hold an IT-relevant MA or BA or alternativly you have acquired all of your skills in some other way. Furthermore, we expect that you have:
• 5+ Years of SAP Development experience
• 2+ Years of SAP UI5 Development
• Experience in designing and following development-architectures
• Experience within CDS-views and oData-services
• Knowledge about transition from ERP to S/4 Hana will be an advantage
