We Offer A unique opportunity for a proactive Relocation Advisor to join our Esbjerg based HR Department. Relocation is a part of the HR Shared Service team, but you will work closely with HR Business Partners and the Recruitment team as well. As our new Relocation Advisor, you will get the chance to work in an international environment with numerous internal and external stakeholders in a position with a great deal of independent responsibility. You will gain deep insight into Maersk Oil organization and develop a strong network as part of a very positive department where both professional and personal competencies are important. The position as Relocation Advisor is an ad-hoc position, meaning that the weekly hours will depend on the existing need of relocation services, estimated to 15-20 hours per week. Key Responsibilities When relocating to another city/country it is of outmost importance that the employee and the accompanying family feels welcomed, helped and guided through the process. This is why Maersk Oil, Esbjerg in 2012 created the role; Relocation Advisor. As a Relocation Advisor, you will be using your empathy, creativity, understanding and your caring side to be able to assist the arriving families. Your assistance is as much for the partner and family as it is for the employee. Your key responsibility is to take part in the arrival and on boarding of our new hires and their families. Furthermore your responsibility will involve: • Arranging city tours for our candidates. • Informing the candidate about the relocation process and giving information needed from the candidate and family. • Manage Maersk Oil’s 38 temporary accommodations around Esbjerg and keep close contact to the existing market. • Welcoming the family upon arrival and assist them with temporary accommodation. • Arrange meeting with New Comers services for the arriving family. • Arrange monthly Spouse/partner meetings. • Keeping the employee and the families informed of upcoming events in the city. Who we are looking for As a Relocation Advisor we are looking for a person who is outgoing and thrives by working independently with experience in relocation work or who has been relocated themselves in the past. Since you are dealing with many different stakeholders both internally and externally, you must be service minded and clear in your communication. • Experience with MS Office is a preferred. • You have good local knowledge. • You are practical and take action on improvements. • You have excellent English skills both written and spoken.
