Would you like to analyse, develop and select scenarios for offshore logistics setups for future far-offshore wind farms? Join us and become Offshore Logistics Analyst in Harbour & Offshore Logistics which supports our wind power projects in terms of harbour logistics, marine inspection, offshore logistics, marine & helicopter coordination and offshore operation management. You will become Offshore Logistics Analyst in the Offshore Logistics team that provides support to our wind projects in connection with the preparation of the logistics setup for transfer of personnel via boat and helicopters to our offshore wind farms. The department is part of Wind Power which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Offshore Logistics Analyst, you will support the individual offshore wind farm project teams, and your general duty will be to analyse and identify the most beneficial offshore logistics setup for the transfer of personnel to our offshore wind farms during the construction phase. You will analyse logistics setup for personnel transfer, including crew transfer vessels, helicopters, hotel vessels and specialised vessels. You will support our offshore logistics project manager in preparing scenarios from which one final logistics setup will be developed and improved before final execution during the construction of our offshore wind farms. The keywords for success are safety, flexibility, optimisation, execution and costs. In that process, you will cooperate with internal stakeholders, such as the EPC director for the asset project, other project managers, maritime, helicopter and harbour facility experts, planners, contract managers and HSE managers. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •create models to simulate offshore transport scenarios or specific parts with statistic software or quantitative tools •support scope development and design in relation to asset and product line projects •support development of resource plans, budgets, project scopes and time schedules •support development of project plan including work break-down structure, governance, time schedule for work, milestones etc. •initiate and secure robust change and interface management. On a daily basis, you will refer to our Team Lead in Marine Coordination & Offshore Logistics. Your profile You have a relevant bachelor’s degree (logistics, engineering, management information systems (MIS)) or a relevant master’s degree (applied mathematics, logistics, operations research, computer science, business, engineering and management science) with experience with expeditionary logistic operations in the offshore sector.
