We are currently looking for a Quality Project Manager for Strategic Sourcing Business Support who can manage projects and recurring activities related to requirements coming from and interaction with Health Authorities. About the department Strategic Sourcing is the central sourcing unit in Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply division, responsible for the medium and long term strategic sourcing activities, which involves global identification and management of suppliers for Novo Nordisk’s worldwide pharmaceutical production sites. In Business Support we drive cross-unit projects and contribute with value-adding quality, financial, commercial and market intelligence support to the other 5 departments in Strategic Sourcing. You will enter a fast-paced and ambitious environment where we collaborate closely with stakeholders inside as well as outside Novo Nordisk. You will be located in Bagsværd, where 9 competent colleagues look forward to welcoming you to the Business Support team. The job Your primary focus is to ensure a high compliance level in Strategic Sourcing. You will collaborate closely with your Quality Area Specialist and Quality Coordinator colleagues as well as procurement professionals, Quality Assurance (QA), various specialists, management and authorities. Amongst your key responsibilities, you will lead and coordinate a new focus group which identifies new regulatory requirements to the supply chain and procurement area and has interactions with authorities. Part of the job is to focus on understanding and implementing regulatory requirements and you will drive smaller projects identified by the focus group and management team. Furthermore, you will contribute to Strategic Sourcing’s compliance with regulatory requirement, through preparation and analysis of quality data and you will coordinate inspection/audit activity in Strategic Sourcing in close collaboration with your colleagues. You will report to Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing Business Support, while your area of involvement covers the entire Strategic Sourcing unit and its many stakeholders. Qualifications You hold a relevant academic degree in pharmaceutical science, business, engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years of experience. Experience with regulatory requirements within drug/device/procurement area will be an advantage. The same goes for experience with project oriented work and involvement in management reporting or interaction with management and external stakeholders or clients. Ideally, some of this experience was obtained in a sourcing or supply chain environment. You are known for a high commitment to your assignments. You thrive in a team oriented environment, and you also enjoy working independently and making your own decisions regarding compliance/quality tasks. Your communication skills are excellent in both written and spoken English. The combination of strong communication skills and a well-developed quality and commercial mind-set enables you to place the importance of product quality, patient safety and compliance on the agenda in a positive and constructive way. A structured approach to work, attention to details and high comfort in working with MS office tools like Power point and Excel, allows you to handle complex data and turn it into nicely understandable messages.
