Your overall objective is to secure customer satisfaction by balancing competing project constraints like Budget, Scope, Schedule, Quality and Risks.

 

About the department

We have just the right job for you in the Project Management department of FLSmidth Digital Product Support & Execution. Here you will play a key role in the project execution of plant control and laboratory systems to the global Cement and Mining industries. You can look forward to exciting workdays where you are constantly required to adjust yourself to changing conditions, different cultures, challenges and priorities, inspiring you to grow personally and professionally.

 

Your responsibilities will be:

• Your own portfolio of projects – from initial contract to final implementation and handover to the customer.
• Heading of interdisciplinary cross-cultural project teams.
• Stakeholder management of external/internal customers and suppliers.

You will be based at our headquarters in Copenhagen and can expect up to 60 yearly travel days relating to customer meetings, site visits, internal meetings etc.

 

You have:

You probably have a background as a mechanical, electrical or software engineer, chemist or industrial electrician, but above all, you must have a good understanding of scope management, work break down and systems integration. To perform well in this position, you need experience with budget control, combined with commercial flair and strong negotiating skills.

Your ability to maintain a helicopter view, in pressed situations and your strong personal impact, enables you to lead your team to deliver as scheduled. Furthermore, you have a good portion of international experience and are in possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills, which you rely on when adjusting yourself to new customers and projects worldwide. The type of person we are looking for, is the type that delivers today, rather than tomorrow. A PMP certification is a plus.
