We are looking for a result-oriented individual with outstanding analytical skills to take on the responsibility for the product package for JACK & JONES OUTLET.
 
If you have experience from the outlet business, then this is your chance to play a key role in building up JACK & JONES OUTLET from scratch!
 

A new part of our business
JACK & JONES is one of Europe’s largest and leading men’s clothing brands, and we are now extending our business by venturing into the outlet world. Our ambition is to expand with a significant number of OUTLET stores across Europe in the coming years. 
You become part of the JACK & JONES OUTLET team based in Denmark, which in addition to you consists of a Retail Trainer and a Retail Manager dedicated to growing our outlet business. 

Take on an essential role
As the Retail Buyer for OUTLET, your primary responsibility will be to buy the best sold items from previous seasons, stocked items and special productions for our OUTLET stores. You collaborate with the Product Buyer on setting the buying strategy and distributing the package for the OUTLET stores. With many different product sources, you manage the seasonal budgets and “open to buy” to ensure the optimal buy is reached.

More specifically, your tasks include:

• Responsible for the seasonal buy for the OUTLET stores
• Influence category assortments by analyzing product performance, customer feedback, consumer trend, competitive landscape and local market knowledge 
• Maintenance of seasonal “open to buy” and re-orders
• Continuously analyse and reforecast business (slow- and fast movers, product- and category performance, etc.) and decide on the required actions according to the “open to buy” forecast, including adjusting product flow and inventory management
• Developing in-store promotion plans in collaboration with the OUTLET Retail Trainer
• Going on two annual inspiration trips to relevant fashion hubs as well as to the most prominent outlet stores across Europe.

Qualifications

• Experience with buying for retail outlets
• Experience with stock management and optimization 
• Great numerical skills and strong business acumen
• Highly proficient in Excel
• Fluent in written and spoken English – any German language skills are considered an additional advantage.

You have a structured approach to your work and are analytic by nature. It is important that you are an outgoing and strong communicator with the ability to ensure that we get to the key decision-making factors and take the appropriate actions. Since you will be responsible for the buying for all our OUTLET stores, we emphasise that you are able to work independently and are comfortable making vital and influential decisions. You thrive in a role where you take responsibility, and you are motivated by getting your ideas through to make a difference. Additionally, you possess good collaboration skills and communicate easily with both upstream and downstream partners on all levels and across borders.
