Project Manager in Supply Chain Acquisition Integration

Are you a master in Plan, Make and Deliver processes and systems? Are you used to participate in large projects? Are you ready and able to navigate a diverse stakeholder group, and driven by ambitious targets and exciting challenges? Then join our Supply Chain Acquisition Integration team in this role as Project Manager.

The job

You will take part in our Boxster project, which is about integrating a product portfolio acquired from Bayer into LEO Pharma, as well as taking over a new factory in Segrate, Italy and onboarding a total of approx. 450 new colleagues.

As part of the Boxster project organization you will be part of the core team for the Supply Chain work stream. You will be leading your own track within the Supply Chain work stream.

As track lead for the Distribution Transfer work stream you will be responsible for planning, preparing and executing on transfer of inventory in 50+ countries in a very short span of time. Oversight of stock levels, PO-placement, changing of flows simultaneously are key activities in the inventory transfers.

You will be working closely together with the rest of the Boxster integration team. You will secure the interdependencies and links towards the rest of the business.

You wil ensure successful integration by:

• Managing the cross-functional work-stream 
• General project management and project planning
• Setting master data requirements and ensure required master data is in place for Day 1
• Ensuring effective hand-over of integration activities to LoB (in Patient Supply and beyond)
• Establishing the needed structures and system support to execute the inventory transfer on Day 1 
• Mapping/detailing current and future set-up, processes and structures for the outbound shipping of goods from the production sites after Day 1. 
• Creating the overview and plan the processes for the inventoryl handovers from Bayer to LEO at Day 1,  – including securing the uninterrupted supply of finished goods to our affiliates/customers in the different countries.

You will be working and interacting with stakeholders across different LEO entities as well as external partners globally, so some travel should be expected. When taking over the portfolio on July 1, 2019 you should expect a peak in the work load as inventory transfers must take place at the same time.

The position is based on a 12 months contract. 

Your qualifications and profile

You have a strong academic background, which means you have a strong theoretical foundation of how to successfully run big projects.

You have a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience from a large global company and/or from a top-tier management consulting company which gives you a strong know-how in all aspects of project and change management. Experience from the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industries is preferred. 

We expect you to have experience being part of large supply chain related strategy/business development projects.

Supply Chain Acquisition Integration is a team of 5 is located in our global headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark and is part of the Global Patient Supply organization.
