Project Manager, Global Development Process Improvement

Do you have experience driving cross functional changes in a lean or agile way? Would you like to play a key role in improving our clinical development processes? Then you might be the Project Manager we are looking for. 

In Global Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to market approval, as well as life cycle management. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions to authorities while making sure that the processes live up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics. We work in global project teams, with a focus on delivering viable products that make a difference to patients and ultimately benefit society.

 

About the department

The department is anchored in Global Development and located in Søborg. We are a team of 7 dedicated project managers with different backgrounds and experience. We facilitate qualification, execution and implementation of improvement projects in Global Development. Clinical processes, collaboration and interactions between clinical areas and regulatory requirements make up the focal point of most of our improvement projects. We interact with specialists and management across Global Development, from affiliates and from other areas within R&D.

 

The job

As Project Manager you will drive improvement projects from idea to implementation. In collaboration with a project owner or process specialist, you will lead the project team towards agreed objectives. You will be responsible for team engagement and project plan including cost, timelines and deliverables and you will identify and assess project risks and facilitate decisions on project direction and continuation. You will ensure alignment of expectations and support from stakeholders throughout the project. You will support communication and implementation of solutions and finally, you will participate in the ongoing development and sharing of our methodologies and tools. Day to day operation is a mix of above activities.

 

Qualifications

You have a master’s degree in life science or business combined with project management experience. You have, preferably, experience from the pharmaceutical industry as well as project management and leadership. You are used to working in an international and changing environment. You have a strong interest in the business perspective as well as in operational processes and have an objective, analytical and pragmatic mind-set. You act and interact proactively with stakeholders at all levels and have excellent presentation skills including the ability to prepare clear and simple messages concisely and convincingly.
