Talent Acquisition in Novo Nordisk is standing ahead of an exciting journey to revolutionize our delivery to the business and we are looking for a Head of Talent Acquisition Development to drive the global Talent Acquisition transformation agenda.

 

About the department

As Head of Talent Acquisition Development, you will be part of the management team in the Global Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence within Global People & Organization, reporting to the Global Vice President of Talent Acquisition (TA). We support line of business across the globe to attract, recruit and onboard the best talent to Novo Nordisk with recruitments in more than 120 countries and around 5000 hires yearly on a global basis. 

TA Development is a newly established function and is a small team with a big agenda.  Initially you will have one direct report and a matrixed project organization to support your team.

 

The position

As responsible for TA Development, you will drive the TA Development strategy from design to implementation, and you will lead the execution of global strategic development and optimization projects. This includes setting direction for the department through a clearly communicated vision, performance expectations and stakeholder management. 

In this role, your first primary responsibility will be the implementation of a new operating model for the entire global TA function and the transformation of TA processes and methods to ensure increased value to the business and higher customer satisfaction internally as well externally. 

You will get a fantastic opportunity to set new standards and direction for the future of TA through cross-departmental collaboration and together with the management team. And from day one, you will act as a trusted advisor, consultant and challenger to key stakeholders within the TA area, local P&O organizations worldwide and the broader HR community. 

 

Qualifications

You have at least 10 years of relevant experience within HR and business transformation in a global environment, holding a Master’s degree within Business, Economics, HR or other relevant educations. 

You have proven experience in strategy, design and implementation planning, project management methodologies and organizational change management. Experience within HR business development and strategic transformation is preferred and capabilities within operating model design, HR technology, offshoring and outsourcing are clear advantages. We imagine that you’re also a thought leader who knows Talent Acquisition methodologies and approaches, and who thrives with high stakes, innovative thinking and excels in driving change. 

As a person, you work effectively within a matrixed team environment and you’re excellent at building long-lasting relations. You naturally take the lead and can communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of the global organization. You are a listener but know when action is required, and you understand how to cater to different needs. You are a strong team player and are always willing to assist team members when needed.
