We are currently in full swing setting up DTU Entrepreneurship - a new centre at DTU aimed at strengthening research and education in entrepreneurship. We are looking to strengthen our secretariat with a project coordinator, who can take active part in the development of the centre - both in the administration as well as developing and running relevant projects within the centre.

The purpose of the centre is to increase the entrepreneurship culture and strengthen the ecosystem for start-ups at DTU. The centre will bring research and education within entrepreneurship together and create a basis for increased activities across departments and disciplines to equip engineers with the skills to understand the interplay between technology and new business models. To achieve this, the centre depends on smooth operation in conjunction with relevant and innovative activities.

Innovative project developer with an administrative touch We are therefore looking for a proactive project coordinator with the ambition to contribute to establish, develop and run the centre. In addition to a range for administrative tasks, you will be involved in developing new projects, following up on leads and contributing hands-on to entrepreneurship education and startup activities. We offer an exciting position where you will get to play a central role in building up the centre strategically and practically.

General secretariat and administrative tasks:

• Support the administrative annual cycle at DTU in terms of action plans, budgetting and strategies
• Develop and maintain a system to track the centre's KPIs and run analyses on the data to support decision making
• Contribute to creating a high-performing secretariat valued by the centre's staff, e.g. by optimising work procedures and administrative processes
• Contribute to the centre's project finance tasks, among other things keep up-to-date on relevant funding opportunities, help researchers understand the terms for different funding opportunities and take on liaison role to DTUs central departments for finance, legal and funding support

Project development, coordination and execution:

• Follow up on leads for new projects internally and externally by screening for relevance against centre vision and prepare for management decision
• Engage in project development and implementation making sure that the initial ideas are turned into successful projects with value-added for our students, researchers and external stakeholders
• Partake hands-on in entrepreneurship education and startup support activities, e.g. facilitating workshops, liaise with industry fellows and mentors and run events.

Who are you?

You have an engineering degree at Master's level and have a solid experience in project management. It is prerequisite that you have previous work experience within a university, preferable DTU. We expect you to be able to manage and prioritise your own tasks, proactively seek information and offer support as well as keep track of complex guidelines while maintaining a broad overview.

We also expect you to:

• Have a keen interesting in tech entrepreneurship and knowledge of startup processes
• Have documented teaching experience in tech entrepreneurship education programs at university level
• Have more than five years of industry experience
• If you have experience with graphic design and event management, we see this as an added bonus

There is a high degree of freedom in the position, but in return we expect that you are flexible for example in application and reporting deadlines when needed.

Salary and terms of employment

The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.

The working hours are 37 hours per week and the work place is DTU Lyngby Campus.

You will be part of the secretariat and refer to the head of the secretariat.
