You will join DEN Division – a strong and growing business area where we are the lead factory within our organization – supporting 3 factories worldwide. You will be part of a team with 65 dedicated employees with an ambition to create profitable growth in the coming years utilizing our full potential and you will report to the Production Manager. Secure operations and plants productivity As Production Engineer your overall objectives will be to plan and execute technology engineering activities in order to ensure optimal operations and plants productivity while you maintain the quality standards of produced products. Another focus area will be to research, evaluate, recommend and plan investments in technology, equipment, systems, or other assets that will enhance the plant's technology area or production capabilities. Your tasks will among many others include: •Take action to resolve technology issues in production and minimize delays •Participate at Change request: changes in R&D, purchasing, technology. •Support maintenance department. •Participate in and support production of special orders. •Introduce, implement, monitor and optimize quality processes in production by using different quality tools •Participate in DPP projects (LEAN) and prepare plans for improvement together with Technology Manager to eliminate losses and increase productivity •Participate at product modifications and improvements using e.g. 4 steps methods •Improve system audits results and eliminate technology related non-compliance by internal audits of products Exercise independent initiative concerning variable cost reduction and quality improvements and to deliver according to project plans and targets. Design for manufacturing and drive to achieve Your engineering degree (e.g. production) is backed by solid practical experience as a production engineer working with optimisation. You have successfully completed several development projects and have a proven track record in contributing to a team-oriented environment. You have also assumed the role of lead engineer where you have delegated to other colleagues. Technically you have experience within some of the following areas: SAP Master Data, Routing & BOM, CAD, Excel, Power Point, LEAN, Six Sigma (Green Belt) and you have knowledge of and experience with ISO 18001 / TS 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. As a person you are result-oriented, and you base your high-performance work on technical expertise and your ability to see possibilities instead of limitations. You are an excellent communicator with strong relationship-building capabilities, enabling you to establish a key network of contacts, internally and externally. You are able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving eenvironment. As Danfoss’ corporate language is English, you must speak and write English fluently as well as Danish.
