Would you like to work on a high profile offshore project where you can apply your strong offshore knowledge? We Offer An exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Structural Engineer to join a high profile Brownfield Team in Maersk Oil. In this project, we will prepare, - design, plan and execute, existing facilities for a major revamp. Your role will be to plan and coordinate the offshore construction work related to the hook-down of existing topsides and bridges. Overall, you will have excellent learning and development opportunities within the A.P. Moller – Maersk Group. Key Responsibilities As Construction Engineer, you will be exposed to the full value chain of disciplines and technical solutions (design to abandonment). This entails building understanding of project economy, planning and execution. As part of this, you will have great opportunity to collaborate with external resources that can provide experience and knowhow that is not normally available in the organisation. Internal collaboration partners include the project Brownfield Team as well as Asset Operations and Offshore Construction. Overall, you will be responsible for planning and estimating offshore work scopes, ensuring safe and efficient execution and preparing project handover. You also provide input to design contractors to optimise offshore execution, and you are responsible for evaluation, quality control as well as mechanical completion, set-up and execution. Some of your specific tasks will be to: Perform screenings of technical solutions and follow up on input from offshore personnel Coordinate with all involved parties in the project team and the Offshore Construction Group, to assure continual iteration of optimal solutions and alignment of interfaces. Participate in interdisciplinary design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, lay-out review etc. Provide technical direction for design contractors and fabrication contractors. Plan material packages with the Brownfield Manager. Who we are looking for In this position, it is important that you are able to collaborate and communicate with numerous stakeholders. At the same time, you have the experience to be able to work independently on facilities and across disciplines with minimal supervision. More specifically, you are a skilled engineer with experience executing offshore projects. You have knowledge of Maersk Oil OSPs, OPMs etc. as well as knowledge of industry and Maersk Oil internal design standards. Finally, you are familiar with the planning and executing process of offshore work, and you are innovative and enjoy challenging the established ways of working.
