In Process Engineering and Technical Safety, we focus on engineering technical safety processes on Maersk Oil’s offshore production facilities. Our Esbjerg Office constitutes the main office for all our production activities in the Danish sector of the North Sea where we currently operate 48 platforms. Key Responsibilities In your role as our new Process Engineer, you will have varied and challenging work days with the responsibility to: • Perform short term production optimisation with focus on process safety and production efficiency • Conceptualize longer term modifications on production processes • Assist in production troubleshooting and preparation of procedures for commissioning • Perform process calculations • Depending on your background, use your process engineering experience to support colleagues, e.g. by reviewing and assessing impacts of change proposals or vendor documentation. Who we are looking for You have a Chemical Engineering degree. During your studies you have focused on process engineering and perhaps oil & gas related courses. Your level of work experience is not essential, as your responsibility will be adjusted accordingly, but a background in the process industry, perhaps from a refinery, chemical plant or similar specialised production business would be an advantage. As a person, you need to be open, as you will be cooperating with many different colleagues and stakeholders and will have to proactively seek out information in many of your tasks. You possess drive, curiosity and a keen interest in working with process safety and production optimisation. You speak and write English fluently. Danish language skills are a plus.
