For our Performance Warranty team (WAPO PW) we are looking for dedicated and structured performance warranty analysts. The WAPO PW team is working with analyses of third party measurements related to performance warranties and development of specifications for such measurements. The candidate for this position will play a key role in our work related to analyzing the results of measurement campaigns performed by third party measurement companies when determining whether or not such campaigns are performed in accordance with agreed contractual performance warranties. In addition to that, the candidate will participate in baseline development related to performance warranties. What are my tasks? · Analyses of power curve measurement data (e.g. atmospheric, electrical and controller data) · Participation in development of measurement specifications · Participation in development of internal procedures/processes/tools regarding a systematic analysis of all available power curve measurement data · Development of wind turbine power curve analysis methods · Manage power curve validation campaigns and tool development projects · Coordinate with Departments in Siemens Wind Power and external partners in relation to turbine validation projects What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a technical engineering degree, M.Sc. with +5 years of professional experience within wind energy or a closely related field · You have experience with wind power meteorology and atmospheric science · You have experience with simulation tools such as MATLAB or “R” · You have knowledge with wind turbine aerodynamics · You have an analytical mindset and a structured and detail-oriented approach to your work with the ability to see things in a broader perspective and thereby adjust the level of detail required. · You have a proactive mindset and the ability to maintain a good overview of your tasks · You are development oriented, and thrive in a highly dynamic environment. · You have strong communication skills allowing you to adjust your style and approach to your communication partners.
