We are looking for a Senior IT architect with focus on Network in Global IT, Vestas. The ideal qualified candidate has broad knowledge in the network area on a specialist level - CCNP or equivalent and at least 7 years of experience working with network. Global IT/User Productivity and Digital Foundation/Connectivity Vestas Global IT creates business value by providing world-class IT solutions. Global IT equips the Sales and Production units, as well as corporate Group functions, with dynamic solutions for executing Vestas' strategy and assuring real business value for our global customers and stakeholders. The Connectivity department is responsible for delivering and improving network solutions all over the globe, providing the best possible form of connection from the technician on the factory floor to the CEO in the Headquarter. We are a group of highly skilled network experts, working very hard to provide the above solutions, in close collaboration with experts in other infrastructure areas. Responsibilities As Senior Architect you will have direct influence on the future Vestas, we want to be the world leader, and are doing very well, but we need to stay in front and utilize all the benefits that IT and digitalization can bring. We feel certain that the right networking solutions can bring that value to the company, and we need you to guide and direct to the right path. As Architecht lead for your area you will be responsible for: Designing and optimizing a global and complex landscape Be the technical lead for qualified peers Prioritize and choose what projects should be delivered Creating roadmaps Collaborate to improve the current IT strategy Planning, building and deploying solutions Providing knowledge and expertise as consultant when needed Engaging with our vendors and deliver solutions in collaboration with them Qualifications The ideal qualified candidate has the following qualifications and experience: Broad knowledge in the network area on a specialist level - CCNP or equivalent At least 7 years experience working with network Experience working in a larger company (Enterprise level) Solid understanding of the interaction between different technologies A thorough interest in and understanding of how IT is related and adds value to the business Fluent in English both orally and written Worked in a multi vendor setup.
