Every time a mould is ordered by one of our factories across the world, a host of processes must fall into place to ensure that the mould is delivered on time and the factory can keep producing toys for children worldwide. Are you ready to take responsibility for this invaluable planning process?

Join us at the heart of planning

In this position, which will have a duration of about a year and a half, starting as soon as possible, you will join our Planning & Capacity Management division within Engineering, Elements & Moulds. Here, you will become a part of a team of 12 specialists but work closely together with 1 fellow planner.

Working together to ensure efficient planning and best utilisation of capacity, you will take responsibility for early planning projects and maturing them. Concretely, you will:

• Communicate with customers to clarify order conditions, including mould model, special needs, and time frames

• Draw up and communicate plans to involved divisions, including Engineering, Elements & Moulds and Capacity Management

• Prioritise orders to ensure adherence to time frames and optimal capacity usage

• Collaborate with and give input to Capacity Management to ensure right capacity on a 2-year horizon

• Actively work to gain insight on short-term customer needs and ensuring short-term capacity

There are more than 3,000 possible process combinations between first order and delivered mould, and we often work with short deadlines.

To keep up with the time constraints and the many decisions we have to make on a daily basis, we work closely together, both within the team and with the many factories in Mexico, China, Singapore, Europe and beyond. This makes the position global, fast-paced and filled with possibilities.

Planning knowledge and a constant eye on the details

With your eye for quality and great coordinating abilities, you are never phased by short deadlines. You cannot live with a half-hearted plan, and you are always sure to check that everyone is kept up to date with the newest information, keeping things running smoothly.

You also have:

• 2+ years’ experience with planning from a similar position, possibly as production planner, analyst or specialist for supply chain, distribution, logistics or similar

• A bachelor’s degree or higher within planning, supply chain management or similar

• Preferably, experience with SAP Galaxy and Excel

• Fluent communication skills in English
