Perfume/Fragrance Expert, Household Care, Bagsværd
We are seeking a creative and result-oriented Perfume/Fragrance Expert to help drive the development of biotechnology in the household care segments.
As Perfume/Fragrance Expert in Household Care, you will have the daily responsibility to independently plan, carry out and report laboratory experiments in agreement with the project group, and you will set the direction and participate in creating a high performing team.
Focus will be on understanding the composition and function of detergent perfume systems in combination with enzymes and set-up assays to evaluate these. It is important that you like working in the lab as setting up lab scale test models and coordinating and running trials are a substantial part of the job.
On the scientific side, you strive towards excellence and are updated on technologies and scientific developments in the field. You ensure the implementation of new methods and equipment and have the competencies to solve technical problems. You are inspired by developing real products and are able to link business needs to research strategies.
In this position you need:
- Hands-on perfume/fragrance formulation experience is a must – preferably from the detergent industry
- A strong scientific background (PhD or MSc level) in i.e. chemistry, biochemistry or engineering
- To be specialized in odor analysis like GC-MS and sensory
- Strong skills with data analysis and statistic
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
