People and Project Manager, Intraoral Scanner Software

Over the past 4 years, 3Shape has successfully launched several revolutionary intraoral optical 3D scanner products – the TRIOS® scanner family. The TRIOS® scanners enable high-definition, digital workflows directly in the dental clinic, and are disrupting the traditional dental workflows by eliminating the need for physical impressions of patient teeth. We are currently looking for a skilled software manager to tie together the scanner software elements of a high-performance 3D scanner product; from embedded device software to low-level data processing units executed on regular PC architecture, including software tools used in test and support of scanner products. Job Description You will lead a team of 4 skilled software developers, likely to grow further under your supervision and management. You will be responsible for the planning and execution of software development activities related to the intraoral scanner products and systems, and facilitate the timely release- and issue tracking activities associated with the scanner software items. This includes integrating features requested and co-developed by adjacent projects, such as next generation scanner product development, as well as software verification and validation activities. As a combined Team Leader and Project Manager, you will report to the Intraoral Scanner Development Manager. Candidate profile The successful candidate must demonstrate several of the following qualifications: • M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent. • A track record of successful software project management cases, preferably related to product development in the medical device industry • Radiantly passionate with technical products and challenges • Excellent people management and development skills • Master of modern software development processes and environments, and at least 5 years of experience with software development and architecture in a technical context. • Knowledgeable within agile processes and methods, but with a strong preference for quality and timely delivery • Mindset for seeing priorities from an end-user and an overall business perspective In our search for new colleagues we always look for people with a cross-disciplinary and an open mindset.
