Job Description

Then join us as our new Manager Customized Software Solutions (m/f) for the agriculture, construction and material handling off-highway mobile markets. The position may be located in Neumuenster, Germany or Nordborg, Denmark. Other Danfoss Power Solutions locations may also be an option. 
 
Key responsibilities

  • Build-up and develop our new globally distributed Customized Software Solutions team
  • Implement new processes and standards for your area of responsibility
  • Coordinate customer-specific embedded software developments for mobile machines
  • Actively seek ways to reuse existing software solutions and work closely with core team leaders (testing, development and simulation)
  • Play a vital role in further developing of our software products
  • Develop new processes and structures for the Customized Software Solutions department
  • Control and monitor the overall performance of the globally distributed team to ensure compliance with strategies, methods and agreed processes
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with our internal and external customers
  • Facilitate regular meetings with local sales teams to understand current customer needs
  • Communicate these local customer requirements effectively in the global organization

Your profile

  • Successfully completed studies in engineering, computer science or natural sciences
  • Many years of professional experience in research and development (ideally embedded development)
  • Experience in team management with proven competence in leading employees
  • Some project management experience
  • Independent and structured way of working
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Very good command of written and spoken English; mastering other languages is an advantage
  • Open to working in a global matrix organization with a high level of intercultural competence
  • Willingness to travel 30%
