Join DONG Energy as LNG Business Developer in our LNG Business Development department where you will have significant independent responsibility, and where the quality of your work will be of great importance for the results of the department and the business unit. Our LNG activities comprise long term LNG contracts, regasification capacity, sale and marketing of LNG as well as trading and optimisation. LNG Business Development is part of Customers & Markets, which has 1,600 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. We handle the production from our wind farms and oil and gas fields for the energy exchanges and customers in Northern Europe, and we distribute electricity and natural gas to businesses and private customers in Denmark. You may choose freely to be based either in our Danish office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area or alternatively in our London office in the United Kingdom on local terms and conditions. However, you should expect frequent travelling in the entire world in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As LNG Business Developer, you will take part in the selling and marketing of LNG in Northern Europe, and you will also manage a number of projects with one or more key accounts and end-to-end responsibility. Moreover, you will take ownership of our financial model and be responsible for understanding the fundamentals and help report on the progress of the business. You will also undertake strategic analyses and implement strategic projects, and you will participate in the commercial development of our business, eg by developing tailor-made trading concepts. Based on our LNG strategy and our portfolio, you will also identify business opportunities, including origination possibilities, and you will outline and execute negotiation strategies based on detailed analyses and your knowledge of energy markets. Your profile You will hold a relevant education in economics, business or finance and have some experience from the energy industry, a consultancy or another demanding corporation. Moreover, you will have an affinity for economic analysis and a strong analytical capability. As we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you speak and write fluent English. Furthermore, you will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, enabling you to convey your messages efficiently and smoothly to your stakeholders. You will also have strong interpersonal skills, ensuring that you can build good relationships with your business partners effortlessly. Moreover, you will have demonstrated the ability to change yourself and set high standards, eg through international travel, business ventures or similar. You will handle your tasks with a proactive attitude and have a strong ambition to develop your competences professionally as well as personally. As the workload will be hectic at times, it is important that you can handle on short deadline without compromising quality, and that you have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team as you will be both driving results and ensuring that your stakeholders buy into your ideas.
