For our IT PLM department we are looking for an experienced System Administrator for Teamcenter. Your main focus will be to operate and maintain the PLM System at Siemens Wind Power where we have implemented Teamcenter as our PLM platform. What are my responsibilities? • Participate in developing and deploying new features into our global systems along with operational excellence of our productive environment. • Ensure the optimal long term setup and infrastructure of our PLM Teamcenter environment. • Coordinate root cause analysis for major incidents. • Plan downtime for Releases. • Coordinate infrastructure tasks related to development, QA and production environments. • Carry out tasks related to updating and configuring the different Teamcenter environments. • Setting up new environments, adding servers, and mirror data from Productive environment to our Development systems. • Prepare and maintain scripts to carry out routine tasks/reporting. • Create and maintain Teamcenter client installations. • Proactively improve system performance. • Implement technical security measures. What do I need to qualify for this job? • Minimum 5 years experience as a System Administrator preferably in a large Teamcenter environment. • Experience in working with various infrastructure related assignments including server maintenance, network setup, and scripting. • Experience in deploying Teamcenter configurations. • Experience in the system architecture of Teamcenter. • Understanding of datamodel in Teamcenter. • Detailed knowledge about standard Windows Client, server OS and Network. • Understanding of Databases (Microsoft SQL). • High personal motivation, a feeling of ownership of the tasks given and the capability to approach complex tasks with an open mind • Excellent communicator and fluent in both spoken and written English.
