Are you ready to set new standards for servicing customers online? Nordea is looking for an experienced Java back-end developer with web development experience to join the e-Services team. e-Services is part of a change process helping Nordea Markets set new standards for servicing customers online via the customer portal - e-Markets Nexus. The position we offer In the role as Lead Java Developer, you will be providing the back-end building-blocks to support a state of the art web application, transforming data stored in the source systems into online information to present to customers. You must be able to design, develop, test and troubleshoot components and programs according to the standards adopted by Nordea. You must act as a technical sparring partner and contact point towards system analysts and architects. You will become a member of an international, cross-functional and self-driven team that includes developers, project and product people. We have a strong team spirit, where we work professionally and at the same time have an informal and open atmosphere. The qualifications you need You must have at least 3-5 years’ of experience with developing large scale applications. Likewise, you must be a Java expert as well as an expert in developing back-end systems. Furthermore, you preferably should have: • Experience in developing RESTful services (JAX-RS) • Experience developing clients to REST and SOAP services • Experience with Oracle databases and Hibernate At Nordea, the best quality guarantee is ownership. So you should be a strong co-owner of the platform components. This also means that you will be part of maintaining and supporting what you build. English is our working language and the language used on our platform, so you must be fluent in English, verbal as well as written.
