Lab Assistant, Protein Diversity, Bagsværd Are you ready to use your molecular biology skills to develop pioneering enzyme solutions for a more sustainable world? If so, you could be our new colleague in the Protein Diversity Department in Bagsværd close to Copenhagen. Protein Diversity belongs to the Protein Engineering function ; one of the central areas in Novozymes for developing new enzyme products. Your role will be to develop improved enzyme candidates under the guidance of chemists and in direct cooperation with employees of Protein Diversity, Protein Screening, Protein Design, Protein Technology, Protein Chemistry and Application Development. You will be working with different molecular biology tools creating new diversity. You will be challenged with many different tasks, which sometimes will be urgent. Your work will alternate between development tasks requiring initiative, creativity, responsibility and more routine work in the form of variant generation. Your enzyme variants you will ferment and/or test in enzyme assays in order to find improved enzymes for our customers. It is likely that some projects have tight deadlines and flexibility in working hours will sometimes be a necessity. This position is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual looking to build up new skills and work in a dynamic international organization.
