IT Sourcing Manager to support our digital transformation and work with key IT contracts and vendors

Are you an experienced IT procurement professional with a strategic and strong ‘can-do’ mindset? 

Join us and become IT Sourcing Manager in IT Procurement where you’ll be responsible for managing sourcing within categories such as Hardware, Tele, Software, Projects, Complex Solutions and Managed Services etc., globally and group-wide. This includes the responsibility for defining sourcing strategies and ensuring strategic development in your categories and leading sourcing and tender projects in close cooperation with the business stakeholders. You’ll join a team of 11 IT procurement professionals who focus on strategic sourcing and business development, contract and vendor management and software asset management, delivering bottom-line results and non-financial value.

 

Your key tasks will be to

• be commercially responsible for sourcing all kinds of IT-related goods and services
• lead and deliver entire strategic sourcing projects from start to finish (i.e. market analysis, tender process, negotiations, key stakeholder management, implementation, contract management, etc.)
• build relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation to support the realisation and optimisation of commercial value
• handle commercial issues arising from contracts, including issues related to supplier performance and contract interpretation  
• proactively suggest improvements to processes, procedures, workflows and organisational structures related to strategic sourcing. 

The ideal IT Sourcing Manager will have significant influence on the prioritisation of areas of actions and the strategic development within these areas.  

 

Your competences include that you

• have a cross-disciplinary background based on a master’s degree in economics, law or engineering
• have substantial experience with strategic sourcing, as well as a broad and deep knowledge of sourcing processes – a well-developed sourcing ‘toolbox’
• are an experienced negotiator, taking responsibility for planning and executing the negotiation process
• have project management skills – planning and leading the execution of strategic sourcing projects
• have experience with the management of IT or technology contracts from a similar position; experience from the vendor side is an advantage. 

Furthermore, you have an analytical mindset and know the tools and methods for extracting and analysing market, supplier, spend and performance data. You thrive in an international environment and are able to create good stakeholder relationships. You have good communication and presentation skills and speak and write English at business level. Experience with tendering according to EU tender law, contract advisory, contract management and value creation will be a plus.
