About the department In R&D Academic Partnerships we work to establish and manage strategic collaborations with leading universities to enable scientific project collaboration and talent attraction. Our focus lies within enabling our R&D organisation to gain access to top of the class innovation and also facilitate building talent pipelines to accommodate the future need for different talent segments to execute the R&D strategy, hence enabling the long-term success of Novo Nordisk. Part of this is our PhD and PostDoc talent programmes. Our department has employees with varied backgrounds ranging from natural sciences, business and social sciences. Most of us function as specialists within our field of work and we often carry out independent projects and tasks across the global R&D organisation as well as with external collaborators at universities and other institutions. The job By joining the R&D Academic Partnerships team you will get a unique opportunity to learn about novel ways of driving projects with both external and internal focus. We work within a field of multiple stakeholders and we therefore heavily rely on having strong IT communication platforms (e.g. intra web and our external website). This also includes identifying optimisation possibilities as well as planning and implementing new initiatives to support department goals. Further, we run many events and activities to engage with our stakeholders, where you will play a central role in driving and executing some of these events. Specifically, we are looking into new ways of facilitating knowledge sharing between our PhD and PostDocs enrolled in our talent programme. You will be an integral part of our core team and tasks will vary from strategic and long term assignments to ad hoc practical support. Qualifications We are looking for an intern who is passionate about project and event coordination, communication and IT. You are able to work independently as part of a project team and demonstrate flexibility when priorities change. You are methodical in your work, have excellent coordination skills and maintain a “can-do” positive spirit through times of pressure. We are looking for a candidate with IT proficiency within web-based applications (e.g. MS SharePoint 2010), databases and social media platforms. You are currently in your first or second year of your master’s degree within e.g. Business, Marketing, Communication, IT, Social Science or a related field. You already have some experience with cross-functional project management and you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You must be fluent in both oral and written English. Practicalities Requirement: Students in their first or second year of their master studies. Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 5-6 months.
