In Clinical Operations, Insulin & Diabetes Outcomes, we are looking for a new colleague to join us working as an International Trial Manager Specialist (ITM Specialist). About the department The Insulin & Diabetes Outcomes project is part of global development. In gobal development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product introduction. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities, while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics. We work in global project teams with focus on delivering viable products that make a difference to patients and ultimately benefit society. In clinical operations, we are approximately 55 employees in four well-established departments with experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Trial Administrators, International Trial Managers and Clinical Project Managers. Together, as well as in close collaboration with Novo Nordisk affiliates all over the world, we are responsible for planning and conducting clinical trials within the diabetes area from phase 2-4. You will be part of a department working with large trials such as LEADER® and DEVOTE. The position As an ITM specialist, you will function as a global project manager for trial activities by using your extensive operational and therapeutic expertise. Being a specialist within trial management, you will coordinate trial management activities in a proactive fashion, through clear communication and great team work both in-house and globally. In the role as ITM specialist, you will drive tasks and working groups to meet project deliverables, function as an expert on procedures and processes within trial management, as well as undertake training and mentoring of colleagues within and across projects. Furthermore, you will be responsible for sharing better practice on specific operational challenges between projects within Novo Nordisk, including the global organisation. Being an ITM specialist, you will also be responsible for introducing ITMs to their tasks and to support them when needed, in order to meet project deliverables. In general, you will at all times be expected to perform normal ITM tasks at a highly professional level. Qualifications You hold a university degree in Medical, Biological, Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent. Furthermore, you have minimum 5 years of in depth knowledge of executing clinical trials, as well as minimum 2-3 years’ experience within project management. You demonstrate impact and influence in execution and improvement of core clinical processes. You are a high performer with proven skills from working in a project oriented and international organisation. You have a quality mind-set, meet your deadlines and can prioritise your work in a fast paced and dynamic environment. You are a dedicated team player who likes to contribute to cross-functional work. You have a high degree of flexibility and cross-cultural awareness, and you inspire trust amongst colleagues.
