Your growth is our growth. Our corporate HSSE function has recently been integrated into the Operations Department. As an HSSE Advisor in the Operations Department you will be a corporate advisor on health and safety for other HQ departments as well as the global organisation. You will support the global organization in meeting the corporate health and safety objectives and on the processes and tools relating to health and safety. Key Responsibilities You will be part of the Health and Safety team which manage a large variety of tasks covering everything from strategic development, H&S processes, system development and implementation, campaigns, training materials, daily support of the HSSE functions, etc. As an HSSE Advisor you will be responsible for parts of these processes and systems, and you will run projects to develop new, or improve existing systems. Key responsibilities include: •HSSE best practice development •Assist in planning and implementation of health and safety related initiatives and projects •Provide statistical information and analysis on safety performance •Quality control and distribution of lessons learned •Provide support on safety strategies, policies and templates •Provide input to the annual HSSE Programme •Assist Head of Health & Safety in identifying potential and actual areas of improvement and assist in setting and formulating goals and tools to their achievement. •Support Head of Health & Safety in daily HSSE related tasks •Promote the use of Maersk Drilling’s systems •To support the HSSE functions and units globally, in the process of continuous improvement of safety awareness and safety culture. Who we are looking for You have a formal education in suitable technical, marine, HSSE or quality engineering disciplines. You are proficient in HSSE management systems and you have good knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to safety in offshore drilling activities and onshore management and work activities. You have the ability to obtain offshore safety courses and medical certificates complying with the requirements stipulated for regular crew by the Continental Shelf Authorities in the areas we operate in. You are a strong self-starter with drive, initiative, result-orientation and commitment to excellence. You welcome a global work life and thrive in our international environment.
