About the department
If you enjoy working in a complex, international and dynamic environment with many stakeholders and the mandate to drive global improvement projects within rewards you could be the person we are looking for. Rewards Development is part of Novo Nordisk’s Global People and Organisation and is responsible for Novo Nordisk’s innovative rewards projects. The primary role of Rewards Development is to drive the global transformation of rewards processes and methods with value to the business and customer experience in mind.
The position
As Head of Rewards Development you will be responsible for setting new standards within rewards, leading an innovative transformation, setting direction and driving cross-departmental transformation projects to ensure high quality in rewards and strong alignment in all areas of our organisation.
You and your team of four rewards managers will drive, challenge and execute on current projects as well as initiate new projects to bring rewards in Novo Nordisk to the highest standards.
You will become a member of Total Rewards Management with direct report to the CVP of Total Rewards and Mobility. Strategic direction and guidance for your team members is essential for the success of the role. You will get the opportunity to lead, own and drive various projects, playing a key role in setting direction for the future within rewards in Novo Nordisk.
An important part of your role will be to lead and inspire your direct reports according to the Novo Nordisk (NN) Way, ensuring high engagement and high performance in accordance with all relevant NN standards. This includes setting direction for the department through clearly communicated vision, goals and performance expectations, ensuring a good working environment focusing on motivating and coaching the individual employee in their daily work. All of this in a virtual environment as your team members are situated around the world.
Qualifications
You hold a relevant Master’s degree within Business, Economics, Management, HR or other relevant educations.
In order to drive the transformation towards alignment in a big, international company as Novo Nordisk, you need many years of experience within rewards and being a part of larger changes within global rewards will be an absolute advantage to be a success in this position.
Taking the lead comes naturally to you and you enjoy setting a clear direction and building a positive and strong culture. As the position requires you to create a strong network internally in Novo Nordisk as well as with partners worldwide, you are skilled at building relationships and trust as well as managing different stakeholder needs. You are analytic, persistent and able to integrate different views in your decision making process.
As a person you are open and honest and as such you connect easily with your stakeholders and team members. You organise your work in a structured manner and you enjoy the challenges associated with supporting multiple activities simultaneous.
Fluency in both written and spoken English is a pre-requisite.
We welcome applications even though not residing in Denmark at the moment. Weekly commuting within Europe or other destinations within reasonably range is acceptable to possess and succeed in this position.
