Ensure the implementation of our Technology Strategy & Roadmap

Taking on this newly established position, you will join the Strategy & Roadmap Execution Business Unit which is responsible for our newly established LEGO Technology Strategy & Roadmap. Here, you and approx. 20 colleagues communicate the strategy and orchestrate the execution of the roadmap which fundamentally changes and reforms the Enterprise Architecture and IT Operating Model in the LEGO Group.

As Technology Strategy Manager, your task will be to ensure that the new strategy stays in sync with the overall business priorities. Doing so, you assess everything from IT capabilities and human resources to customers and consumer needs while you proactively work to implement strategic technology principles across the LEGO Group. To ensure this, you will work to create a collaborative culture across functions, making the agenda clear to all parties concerned. More specifically, you will:

• Prepare and facilitate future state workshop meetings with business and IT stakeholders

• Assess IT capabilities and drive/participate in special projects to build IT operations management capabilities

• Produce management presentations (proposals for roadmap content, trade-offs and changes) and plan meetings

• Communicate the roadmap “target-state”, the progress towards delivering this and the continuous business value creation to both management as well as the wider organisation

• Provide feedback and ad hoc support to the head of the business unit

Visionary thinker with great stakeholder management skills

You are a visionary thinker and pragmatic problem solver who can conduct complex analysis to determine the best path for solving business and technology challenges. And being technically savvy, you understand how IT solutions can support customers and consumers directly and indirectly. Also, your excellent stakeholder management skills and a flair for communication enable you to adjust content according to various stakeholders’ needs while ensuring a clear story line. Moreover, you:

• Hold a degree in business administration, economics, political science, engineering, computer science or similar

• Have 2-3 years of experience as technology strategy consultant/manager from an international (top tier) consultancy or private research institution

• Have experience with development and execution of technology strategies as well as roadmaps

• Understand IT operating models – preferably from agile environments/cultures

• Have practical experience with project management

• Speak and write English effortlessly
