About the department
As Head of Digital Learning, you will be part of our global Learning & Development (L&D) department, residing in the Novo Nordisk Talent Management CoE. You will report to the Head of L&D and be part of a visionary management team.
In Global L&D, we strive towards making learning a competitive advantage for Novo Nordisk. We do that by driving high-quality development programmes based on the newest research and proven best practice. In Global L&D it is our aspiration to make learning attractive, relevant and easy to access for all employee groups in Novo Nordisk.
The job
The L&D department is a newly established function with a big agenda.
The team you will lead consists of 4 highly skilled employees with extensive knowledge about the digital learning field and the learning landscape in Novo Nordisk. The main task for the team is to improve the learning experience for all employees in Novo Nordisk. Areas of responsibility is to strengthen the digital learning landscape e.g. consolidation and implementation of social/collaboration platforms, Learner Experience Platform, LMS and similar. It is critical that you will be able to drive these projects forward together with the team in an effective and sustainable manner.
Additionally, the team must set the direction for digital learning across the organization; i.e. be frontrunners and natural anchor points in terms of future digital learning tools, such as VR, AI, machine learning etc. Knowledge and even experience within these areas will be an advantage.
Qualifications
You hold a relevant Master’s degree or similar and we expect you to have a strong learning and development background and expertise within digital learning strategies, technologies and tools to drive effective learning.
You have proven results in turning strategies into concrete deliverables with a strong end-user perspective. You have direct or indirect leadership experience and your leadership style is agile and experimental – you thrive by piloting, learning and then implementing. And then you are easy-going with a good sense of humour as this is essential to be in the L&D unit. Additionally, you are well-oriented within latest research and trends within digital learning.
Finally, you have most probably worked in a multinational company and collaborated with or led people from different geographies where you have demonstrated cultural and social competencies. Therefore, you are also fluent in English.
