In Corrosion, Repair and Inspection, we focus on inspection, maintenance and ensuring the integrity of the topside pressure systems on Maersk Oil’s offshore production facilities. Leading the group, you will be responsible for the development of strategies, defining the organisation, setting standards and establishing workflow and systems. Key Responsibilities Heading Corrosion, Repair & Inspection, you will be responsible for defining the future within your area of responsibility, ensuring a highly committed and effective team as well as the development, mentoring and motivation of team members. A key part of the position will be to ensure our internal customers throughout the matrix organisation have the inspection and integrity support needed to uphold a safe and efficient production from the offshore platforms. In doing the above, you will be working closely with engineering and production departments as well as your own teams. This challenges your abilities to prioritize as well as to be highly visible in an organization with many different customers and stakeholders. Furthermore, you will within your area be responsible for external contacts to partners, contractors and for establishing and maintain networks with colleagues in other business units. You will be part of the Leadership Team of 5 in the Facilities department and report to the Head of Facilities. Who we are looking for You need to have a strong technical background within corrosion, inspection and maintenance of pressure equipment. In addition, you have experience from the offshore business within the North Sea region. Possessing strong value-based leadership skills, you understand how to interact with employees and stakeholders. You can lead from the front and use your drive, can-do attitude, and executional effectiveness to get people on board. It is also highly important that you have personal integrity and when challenged can still prioritize safety first, to ensure the integrity of pressure systems. You have an innovative mind-set and are able to motivate the employees to find new better solutions, systems, processes and technologies. Finally, working in a highly visible role in a matrix organisation, you need to be great at building relations and have the ability to put weight behind your words.
