The position

 

As Head of Brand Insights & Creative Optimization you will establish and lead our new Brand Insights & Creative Optimization efforts. You will manage a team of 2-3 specialists and build a department that is going to focus on easily digestible insights to optimize creative decisions and activations. You will also be responsible for brand insights across multiple countries and the range of brands within KAYAK. The role is based in our lovely Copenhagen office, but you will also work closely with our Brand Marketing and Product teams across the globe. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a new team of 2-3 insight specialists 
  • Define a local and global Creative Optimization framework for KAYAK, momondo and all related portfolio brands
  • Generate in-depth knowledge of brand positioning, USP’s and user segmentation per brand, market and vertical
  • Develop data backed recommendations for our long term brand positioning 
  • Create a process that continuously generates actionable and impactful optimization recommendations for our creatives 
  • Share your findings throughout the entire organization, helping other teams to implement them effectively in their roadmap
  • Follow competitor and industry trends 

 

Additional Skills and Personal Attributes

  • 5-7 years experience in a similar role, focused on ongoing structured insight-driven optimization of marketing creative 
  • Strong understanding of quantitative and qualitative brand marketing analytics, brand strategy and data driven marketing communication strategies
  • The ability to turn data into useful action points for marketing and product stakeholders 
  • Great communication skills- capable of bridging business and marketing creatives
  • Strong time management, project management and people management skills are absolutely required
  • Ability to collaborate with teams across different cultures and timezones
