And are you ambitious about developing your competencies and expanding your network in Grundfos? Then join Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) which is part of Corporate Finance. We are 35 colleagues responsible for financial planning, analysis and performance management. Our work takes us deep into the Grundfos Group within all businesses, and we also work closely with senior management. You become part of the team Group Profitability & Financial Planning where we are 7 colleagues – 5 who work with performance management, hereof 2 student assistant and 2 who work with financial planning. You refer to Manager, Jesper Berg Folke. ”The team is a mix of colleagues with various degrees of experience, and we spar with each other in the team as well as with colleagues in other areas of the business, to find out which way to go with the different projects we work on. We enjoy an open atmosphere but also maintain a strong focus on our tasks as we are relentlessly ambitious about creating transparency for the strengths and points of improvement in Grundfos,” Jesper explains. What is the job about? In this job, your focus lies on projects related to performance management. We are on a journey to integrate performance management even further in the way we performance evaluate the organisation. You will work together with stakeholders and system consultants to ensure our systems deliver quality information for performance management towards our business units. Part of your job is to always analyse which consequences potential changes have for different areas and to clarify what makes sense business-wise. In the job, you become the link between the business and IT in order to ensure our systems supports performance management reporting. Carrying out analysis of potential challenges, you come up with solutions to optimise the system. “Your challenge in this job is to ensure quality in our data to evaluate performance in the best possible way – and to see which impact it has in other areas of the business if we make changes. So you have to work in a project-oriented manner and really go into detail,” Jesper says. What do you need to apply? You have a higher financial degree, perhaps in management accounting or similar, combined with experience with business controlling/reporting – either from a full-time job or a student job. Moreover, you have excellent Excel skills, a flair for and interest in IT and it is an advantage if you have experience in SAP. You speak and write English fluently. “On a personal level, you are outgoing, as you will be interacting with many different areas of the business to gather knowledge. You are a doer with a strong drive and the ability to maintain a focus, even when projects last for a longer period of time. And finally, you find it interesting to setup the framework for performance management in a back-office function,” Jesper finishes.
