And would you like to help set the direction for an embedded development platform with focus on Continuous Integration, build and Automated Test for the entire Grundfos Group? Then join the Software Building Blocks Basic Platform department in Bjerringbro. Organisationally, you will be part of a team of 11 colleagues responsible for developing reusable embedded software components for Grundfos products. However, you will be dedicated to a cross functional team, building a company-wide embedded development platform. You will report to Department Head, Erik Adam Schulz Laursen. “Our focus is on long-term solutions because what we do will be used in a large number of Grundfos products. This means we must remain relentlessly ambitious as we are part of influencing the processes and how our future tool chain will look ,“ Erik says. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? You participate in automation of the Software build and Test process, and in the Continuous Integration process and methods development. You will also take part in building up our framework for configuring and building our software and test artefacts with variance continuously. Doing scripting and customisation of the complete development tool chain is also a part of your tasks, just as you take part in deploying, training and supporting software developers in using the tool chain and processes. You will become a member of the Configuration and Integration management team and collaborate across the organisation and with external consultants and researchers. You will have a few travel days each year, primarily to India and China where you introduce and implement new tools. “The challenge in this position will be to both set the direction and make things happen to ensure a successful implementation. Another interesting challenge will be to work globally, across different cultures”, Erik explains. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You have some years of experience within build management, including experience with build and integration tools in an agile environment. Further, you have solid knowledge within one or more of the development tools ClearCase, GIT, Jenkins, Pure Varians, SeqZap and/or DOORS. You have good English skills verbally and in writing. ”You have a strong technical profile and the motivation to work with the technical details as well as engaging in the practical assignments in the implementation process. You also need to be able to speak your mind and challenge opinions,” Erik says.
