Join us as graduate in Substations Electrical Management which is responsible for electrical installations, electrical design, integration management and commissioning management. Together with 26 committed colleagues, you will manage the integration of MV/HV components and SCADA into the substations’ structural and civil work. You will be the technical project manager handling interfaces between LV systems, MV/HV components and SCADA systems. Substation Electrical Management is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling to our sites in Denmark and abroad in connection with your work. About the graduate programme As a graduate, you complete a 24­month programme in which you will participate in a training programme along with the rest of the graduate batch 2015. During the training programme, you will participate in six graduate courses. Our graduate programme is considered the first step in our high­potential developing programmes. You will develop yourself both personally and professionally, and your ability to be project­oriented and analytical as well as your problem­solving skills will be strengthened. As part of your daily assignments, you will have the opportunity to rotate within different departments in the business area. You will have the possibility of influencing your assignments to match your qualifications and interests. Furthermore, the programme will give you a strong network among the rest of the graduates in the organisation. Your tasks and responsibilities You will be involved in several on­going projects and ad hoc tasks where your main responsibilities are to: - assist with the low voltage layout and electrical design within the substation scope, including integration of MV/HV/SCADA equipment - assist with processes for handling technical risks, interfaces and changes within the electrical scope, and work with external parties eg engineering and fabrication contractors - build an understanding of project work related to electrical project management, ie focus on the contractually part of our contracts, team management and system delivery, thereby working with the 10 PMI areas in project management - support the Commissioning Manager with installation schedule, supervision and commissioning of an onshore substation, participating in administrative tasks and practical work with testing equipment etc. In addition, you will work with the electrical scope in connection with engineering of, fabrication of, construction of and civil contracts for our offshore and onshore substations. Thereby, you will get a detailed knowledge of how Substations and Electrical Systems contribute to designing, developing and constructing offshore and onshore substations. Furthermore, you will follow up on projects and prepare tender documents and contract agreements Your profile You have recently graduated with a master's degree within electrical engineer, eg as a power engineer, and have delivered excellent results. You have a maximum of 12 months of relevant professional experience, and you are fluent in spoken and written English.
