You will join the Global Logistics Department where you will play a key role in leading initiatives and optimisation processes. Manage logistics improvement activities and projects With reference to the Global Logistics Manager, you will play a key role in driving development initiatives and supporting the development of processes. You will manage the position while balancing a strict outlook on potential optimisation processes and regular communication with our Danfoss partners, as well as other stakeholders. Overall, your key tasks will include: •Reduce freight cost, inventory/stock amortisation by minimising waste and inefficiency •Anticipate, identify, and treat potential and real problems – on a daily basis – which could have an impact on delivery problems •Production estimation on tactical level, based on sales forecasts, actual orders, production, and other planning parameters •Streamline collaboration with other departments •Participate and/or lead logistics optimisation projects •Development of the role of Supply Chain Controller •Monthly reports on KPI •Calculating stock values •Various analysis As Supply Chain Controller, the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and effectively building network within a large matrix organisation, will be very important. One of your success parameters will be to ensure updated and valid KPI data, forecasting data and stock budgets. A great communicator with strong logistics skills You have a relevant educational background at bachelor’s level and at some years experience in the field. You have a track record displaying comprehensive experience with logistics, advanced Excel, and major ERP systems such as SAP. Furthermore, you have an understanding of financial accounting. As a person, you have a great overview and are accustomed to managing many activities at the same time, without loosing track or focus. You thrive with many contacts in the organisation and take pride in being at the forefront of the execution of tasks. With your analytical and structured ways, you manage to take initiative while simultaneously being careful with your tasks and knowing how to prioritise and structure a busy schedule. You have excellent communication skills, also in written and spoken English. Moreover, you are solution and development oriented and ambitious.
