For our Nacelle Operations Team at the global R&D HQ in Brande, Denmark we are looking for an experienced and highly skilled mechanical / marine engineer. The Nacelle Operations Team has the design responsibility of maintenance and product development of the nacelle, support structures casted and processes components in the nacelle and supporting our R&D team during new development. What are my responsibilities? · Responsible for PPE (personal safety equipment) in close cooperation with different teams in the TE department, production, subcontractors, service and procurement · Risk assessment / strategy of evacuation of our turbines in case of fire · Strategy of materials used, in regards to non-flammability, non-toxic, waste, steam or smoke · Documentation of test results What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a professional background as mechanical or marine engineer with knowledge of safety codes/standards · You have more than 5 years of experience working with standard and legal requirements (UL, DS/EN60505, CFPA, European guidelines etc.) · Laboratory experience in regards to fire · Experience in working together with professional supplier in cleaning after fire · FMEA and Risk Matrix · Knowledge in working with AREPA or similar · You have experience with project management · You are extrovert, self-motivating, a team player but also able to work independently · You have good cooperation skills · You are used to working in an innovative work environment with excellent college · You possess strong communication skills and excellent English skills orally and in writing You can expect travel activities In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
