Group Finance > COO > Power Conversion Finance

Power Conversion Finance, a department under Group COO Finance, is responsible for ensuring objective and transparent decision making and guidance by delivering excellent financial reporting, performance management and value-added analysis to relevant stakeholders and senior management within the Power Conversion Segment and COO.

We drive and ensure a performance culture in the operations of Vestas and keep stakeholders accountable for results by best in class financial and performance reporting.

To stay competitive, it is imperative that Vestas is dedicated to financial performance, hence Power Conversion Finance ensures to transform performance management knowledge into tangible impact for Vestas, enabling accurate guidance for financial and strategic decision making.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deep dive controlling of the factory production, both from a performance and a financial perspective. Perform corrective actions to ensure correct actuals
• Act as a Business Partner to Factory Management, and both support & challenge production decisions from a performance and a financial perspective. Be a proactive and value-adding member of the Factory Management Team
• Ensure action-oriented Performance Reporting and conduct monthly Performance Reviews with the Factory Management
• Ensure a full year Budget and adjust Forecast monthly to reflect full year expectations
• Support on Ad Hoc analysis

It is essential that you take the lead in key knowledge/process areas and be able to manage complex initiatives with cross functional engagement and high business impact.

Qualifications

• A relevant Master's degree most likely within Finance or Controlling
• Manufacturing controlling or Factory Controlling experience would be preferred
• Strong analytical & communication skills incl. fluent in English
• Good understanding of value chain and business models
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders across multiple departments
• Strong Excel skills and knowledge of SAP
