Position

We are looking for a talented and creative video editor/motion graphic designer to join our amazing journey forming a global brand with the purpose of opening our world. The right candidate will help translate thoughts and ideas into state of the art creative and innovative campaigns and initiatives.

As an experienced video storyteller at momondo, you will be a part of the Brand Marketing team that primarily works with creating global and local campaigns for all our markets. We have an internal agency set-up where you will collaborate with our creative team of digital designers, copywriters and developers in the creation of all our campaign and marketing initiatives.The right candidate must be able to work on all aspects of the video production: from idea to first draft to final storyboarding, to editing and animating, to exporting the correct formats for the chosen outputs. Our new colleague will join a senior team of creative and communication experts, and will help see that our ideas get tested, implemented, optimized and communicated across all platforms and channels in close collaboration with the rest of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop state of the art product and campaign videos that engages our users and open their world
  • Conceptualize, storyboard, and create short and medium form motion graphic assets for social channels including Facebook, Instagram and YouTube
  • Develop cross-platform creatives - optimize any given video for the different platforms
  • Maintain overview of large amount of video content  
  • Take part in creative brainstorm sessions and concept development
  • Develop and manage video assets across multiple platforms and languages 
  • Work as a videographer for in-house assignments  

Requirements

  • Min. 3 years’ experience working as video editor or motion graphics designer at an agency or advertiser 
  • Be up to date on current design trends to bring fresh ideas and innovation into your work
  • Love of the internet, digital design and testing, learning, iterating
  • Experience with developing creative campaign concepts and creating strong visuals
  • Experience with storyboards/storytelling based on a brief from the creative director and other stakeholders
  • Advanced After Effects user
  • Advanced Premiere Pro user
  • Skilled Photoshop user 
  • Skilled Sketch user would be a great asset 
  • Must have a good understanding of sound design - should be able to work with multi-tracks.
  • Full understanding of the differences in format and language for videos produced for social platforms. (Facebook, Instagram, Insta Stories, YouTube or for television)
  • Experience with srt-files and other subabstractJV_title formats
  • Experience with color grading both professional footage and user generated content
  • Structured mindset to keep overview of large amount of video content
