Alfa Laval is looking for a Engineering Manager Chemical Evaporation Department. In Alfa Laval we experience a continous demand for evaporation systems to the Chemical and Oil & Gas industry, therefore we’re looking for an Engineering Manager to the Chemical and Oil & Gas Evaporation engineering team. As a part of the E&S PEP management team in Søborg our new manager will be responsible for the Chemical and Oil & Gas Evaporation team, which consists of 8 very skilled engineers and project managers. These engineers work close together on process design,engineering, project management, delivery and commissioning of a 31 mio EUR project portfolio. The new manager will also have a global role as technology centre manager supporting our business world wide. Your tasks: Responsible for the overall project results within your area. Implementation of procedures and reviews to make sure that the projects are handled with excellence. Daily management of the group incl. coordination with other departments inside and outside Engineering & Supply. Responsible for implementation of more efficient working methods, tools, standardisation and optimisation of design and costs. Increase flexibility and capacity in the organisation globally to match the business needs. Work strategically to develop the Alfa Vap Chemical Business and Engineering groups in Alfa Laval sites around the globe. Your qualifications: You have an engineering degree in chemical or mechanic engineering. Relevant experience as manager and ambition to grow as line manager. Solid experience as project manager. You work structured, analytic and systematic and are good at getting the overview on matters Experience with high level specification projects for Chemical or Oil & Gas is not a must but an advantage. You have experience with process design, engineering and project management of process plants. You are business minded and customer focused.
