Market Unit (MU) Protein wants to drive business growth for decanter centrifuges and is looking for a Decanter Business Manager. MU Protein operates in the protein recovery industry and is engaged in by-product value adding. We supply core equipment and process lines designed for food applications (e.g. edible gelatin), for feed and pet food applications (e.g. fish meal) or for technical applications (e.g. fats for incineration). Your key task will be, as part of the MU Protein, to be the decanter and decanter application expert for Protein recovery applications. You will drive, support and follow-up upon the decanter business: •Support Sales Companies and Market Unit Protein with quotations for decanter •Support Sales Companies in their sales planning and in achieving their forecasts for decanters •Support Market Unit Protein with decanter quotes as part of project sales •Support and strengthen sales of decanters to our Key/OEM customers Identify new markets and new growth possibilities by using your application and marketing skills. Participate and follow-up on test and R&D work related to the development of new decanters, applications and/or specific sales projects. Give input to sales and marketing tools for the various decanters we are offering to our customers. Expand and distribute product and application know-how internally via training courses and updates of sales tools as well as databases and externally via customer seminars or exhibitions. Drive new product launches in order to achieve targeted objectives. Participate in the formulation and implementation of R&D strategies for decanters. Assist in decanter claims investigation and troubleshooting. A big part of the work will involve interfacing and dealing with internal and external customers from different markets, countries and cultures. Background: You have a technical university degree and minimum 10 years’ work experience You have experience in sales, international business and excellent English skills. We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background within decanter centrifuges and with documented experience from the protein recovery industry. The successful candidate shall be an excellent networker, have experience with and passion for the commercial side of the business and a strong drive to succeed.
